Friday Afternoon on July 23 - Engine 4-5-1 was dispatched to the intersection of Hensel Rd & Amish Rd (Salisbury Twp) for a spill control after a vehicle accident. Once on scene Deputy 4-5 (Anderson) reported a two vehicle accident with blocking. At 13:27 on Tuesday July 20 - Engine 4-5-1 was dispatched to the area of 79 Pequea Valley Road (Paradise Twp) for a Vehicle Accident Stand-by. Chief 4-5 (Doug Brubaker) arrived on scene with command. As some strong thunderstorms were rolling through the county Monday evening, station 4-5 was dispatched at 17:15pm to 876 Strasburg Rd for a dwelling fire. On a searing Wednesday afternoon at 15:17pm Engine 4-5-2 & Tanker 4-5 were dispatched to 5544 Strasburg Rd & Hidden Hollow Dr. (Sadsbury Twp) to assist Station 4-2 on a working brush fire. On a blustery Sunday Morning (May 9) members of the Kinzer Fire Company traveled on E4-5-2 & E4-5-1 to Burle Industries in Lancaster to participate in the 21st Annual Make-A-Wish Mother's Day Convoy.
