Vehicle Accident w/ Entrapment - 3517 Lincoln Hwy E
Mon, Apr 2nd, 2018 2:21:00 am - Early Tuesday morning at 0221, Station 45 and Resuce 42 were dispatched to 3517 Lincoln Hwy for a Vehicle Accident w/ Entrapment. Additional received via LCWC was "two vehicle accident, 3 subjects w/ possible injuries, possiblly 2 entrapped"

Chief 45 arrived on scene and assumed command. He gave an update of a small delievery truck vs car with a head on collision. Each vehicle involved had entrapment of both drivers. There was also an occupant from the car who was lying on the side of the road. 

A second Resuce was requested by Chief 45 and Rescue 47 was dispatched. Chief 45 also requested for a total of 3 BLS's and 3 ALS units and then later added an additional ALS unit.

Ambulance 43-1, 43-2, 43-3, 46-1 & Medic 4-30, 4-40, 6-1 & 600 were the EMS units dispatched.

Rescue 42 arrived on location and began working on freeing the patient from the car and Rescue 47 worked on rescuing the patient from the truck. Crews from Engine 45-2 & Squad 45-1  & Tanker 45 cribbed both vehicles invovled and provided manpower on scene. 

Both patients were extricated at 0245. 

Route 30 was shut down for the duration of the call, with Fire Police from station 45, 47 & 42 taking care of that.

Once PSP completed their investigation, the vehicles were removed via CJ's Towing.

Station 45 was availabe at 0354.
